Each bottle from Blue Bottle Love is hand sandblasted. Β Please keep this in mind when you are awaiting your order. Β We are now shipping from our Fulfillment Center in Michigan as well as from Boulder, CO and Maui Hawaii. Β Your order may come from one or all 3 locations, depending upon what you order.Β Β The usual turn around time is 1-2 days for mostΒ simple USA orders, but if we happen to be out of what you ordered at one warehouse, then it might be 3-5 days for production. Larger orders can take longer to compile all the variations.Β International orders with multiple items must wait until we have all parts consolidated before shipping.Β

If you have a certain date that you must receive your order by, please make a note on the order page or give a follow up email, or call in, Β so we may do our best to meet that date.Β Β

Shipping prices are calculated on the website. Β After you choose your items and input your address, you can calculate the shipping price.
Most orders will ship via Fed Ex if you are out of the United States. Β We have found their rates to be the best at this time. Β Some orders might ship by Global Post if the shipping rate to your location is much more than calculated on the site. Β If anything breaks in shipment, you MUST keep all your packaging and the broken items for inspectionΒ if you would like a refund. Β Also, your cooperation with taking necessary photos for proof of damage and method of packing is very important. Β We do our best to package the bottles as safely as possible, but sometimes there is breakage. Β
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS MAY BE CHARGED IMPORT DUTIES AND/OR TAXES BY THEIR COUNTRYβS CUSTOMS OFFICE!Β Β If the calculated Duties and Taxes is covered by the amount of shipping costs you are billed, then we will cover the Duties and Taxes.Β If the shipping fees do not cover the shipping plus duties and taxes, then we will contact you to see how best to handle the shipment.Β If you are unsure about customs duties and taxes and would like more detailed information, you should contact your local customs office. Β
Also, as of July 1, 2021 any shipment going to anΒ EU country will Β incur VAT fees, collected by the shipping company. Β Other countries are requiring Import/Id Numbers as well. Β We now list the actual price you paid for Customs information in case of loss or damage, so please notify us as to how you would like for the Customs Value to be listed on your shipment, if you do not want the FULL PRICE listed. Β Many times the fees to Canada are covered by the calculated rate, in that case, we will go ahead and prepay the duties and taxes on your shipment.
Β Every country is different and every order is different, and we are unable to account for the various differences between each country.Β Β Please note, that if you are over-charged for shipping, we will extend a partial refund for excess shipping, and ifΒ the shipping costs to your location is substantially more than you paid for shipping, we will reach out to request additional funds.
If you are located in the EU, it may be easier to purchase from our EU website,Β bluebottlelove.euΒ as the VAT is already included in the price. Β Of course the EU website does not carry the same variety of goodness found on this website, but they do have beautiful bottles available!
Disclaimer: Β We have discovered that somehow for International Orders, the site might incorrectly present shipping costs lower than the actual costs. Β Β We reserve the right to adjust the shipping rates to actual shipping costs in this case in the way of requesting more shipping payment from you, and we will notify you before shipping. Β Β It is unfortunate that shipping internationally costs so much, but we are not the ones setting the prices, just paying the bills! Β IN addition, there are a few countries such as Australia and South Africa that have much higher international shipping rates than other countries. Β It is difficult to predict all the different prices within those countries as well, so for any shipping cost more than $10, we will contact you in order to collect more shipping money to cover the costs to ship to your remote location. Β If the extra cost is exorbitant, we will split the extra costs with you to be fair to both of us, or if you prefer to cancel the order, then we will refund your money. Β Thank you for your kind understanding.
You will receive a notification from Shopify when your order has actually shipped.Β We do not inundate you withj emails every step of the way for the order.Β Please check the tracking number provided on your email notificaiton, with the appropriate carrier's website.Β The link from the email tracking number sometimes goes to DHL which is totally inaccurate.Β Please note, if you input your email address for your order incorrectly then you will NOT receive notifications from our website. Β Β
Please note, all packaging materials you find in your shipment are from recycled and reused sources. Β If you order just one bottle, it will arrive in one perfectly fitted box, wrapped in fluted cardboard. Β If you order several bottles, then they will be boxed or wrapped in fluted cardboard andΒ brown paper as the padding. Β The cups are all wrapped in cardboard from the dividers on our pallets or in individual boxes. Β Reuse and Repurpose is the name of the gameβ¦and while we would LOVE to offer an elegant packaging for each cup and bottle, it does not make sense to fill this world with more needless but pretty packaging! Β In some cases, we may need to fill the void with ReUsed packing peanuts to keep the weight down and the bottles well padded, especially for International orders. Β We never buy these awful things, and we will always try to use the biodegradable packing peanuts. Β If you do see any in your package, just know that we definitely did not buy them, only recycling from packages we receive or from donations. Β You may continue the cycle of reusing them, by storing them for future use or taking them to a UPS or pack n ship store near you or give to another business or friend that could use them for packing material!
If you do receive a damaged shipment, please let us know immediately and send photos of the outside and inside of your package. Β We will be sure to send you replacements as soon as possible. Please email a note and photos to aloha@bluebottle.love to report any damage or missing items. Β Β
For International shipments, please keep the packing material and broken pieces and present the shipment to your local post office to make record of the shipment so we may make a claim. Β Please send photos of the inside and outside of your package. If you cannot provide the damage to your local post office, we can only refund the cost of the broken bottle. Β If we are able to make a proper claim, then we will be sure to replace your order right away!
Β ANOTHER IMPORTANT NOTE: Β We maintain the right to refuse service to any individuals that are not in alignment with the values of kindness and consideration.Β Β We do everything we can to get the packages out in a timely manner, but there are certain situations beyond our control. Β We have found most people to realize this, and we are grateful for everyonesβ patience in these uncertain times. Β If there is any negative energy directed towards our company or the bottles, then this results is negative energy in the world, and we do not want to be a part of adding to that.
