Honu PonoPono Turtle
Living in the Hawaiian Islands…offers a special opportunity to connect with the amazing creatures that live in the Ocean. Lately the Honu, which means Sea Turtles in Hawaiian language, have been visiting the beaches so much more than ever before. They have a message for us all, as they are the wisdom keepers of the Ocean. The message comes to keep the ocean and reefs safe from toxic products being dumped into the ocean as well as to stop using non-reef safe sunscreen. There are so many reef-safe sunscreens on the market now, please make sure you share this information with your friends…the sunscreens that are not safe for the reef are not safe for humans either! Please be mindful and respect the waters and all beings living in the waters when you go to the Oceans and other bodies of water.
Pono means to make things right in the Hawaiian language. This bottle was designed in honor of the turtle family to make things right for them and for the whole world! Ho’oponopono means to to take action to make things right…well Honu-Ponopono means to make things right for the Honu….for it is a Honu-World!
The special combination of the words Honu PonoPono also has another important interpretation. A friend heard a message from the turtles one day….”You take care of our land and our people, and we will take care of You”….this seemed like such a significant message from the Honu….that I immediately thought…Wow…That is HonuPonoPono!! A reciprocal energy of care for those in the water and those on the land. A truly beautiful message from these incredible and wise beings.
We donate regularly to the Water Protector initiatives here in Hawaii. Turtle Island Restoration Network is one of the agencies who takes care of turtles in many locations around the world, we have so much gratitude for their dedication and compassoin for so many see animals. We are open to learning about and donating to other awesome groups that are helping the sea turtles…please contact us if you are such an organization or you would like to recommend one. To increase the energy and frequency of your Water, be sure to set your bottle, filled with the cleanest water you have access to, in the sun for 15 minutes up to 1 hour to amplify the energy. Please leave a little room for expansion of the water…so it is best to leave 1″ of space at the top of the bottle. You can also just set the cap on the bottle, rather than sealing it.
