Dr. Masaru Emoto
We first learned about Dr. Masaru Emoto’s pioneering research in the movie “What the Bleep Do We Know”. His work reveals a deep connection with water that we all share. As a powerful voice for water, he has show us that water is a conscious being, reflecting all that we are and ever will be. Water is a powerful teacher for us because it is a mirror of our thoughts, our emotions, and our actions. His work powerfully and eloquently shows us how our thoughts, words and intentions have a literal and direct effect on our physical world and our overall state of health and wellbeing.
In his work, Dr. Emoto and his team taped typed words to different glasses of water from the same source of pure distilled water. Samples of each were then flash frozen, and the crystals were then photographed with a dark-field microscope. Consistently, the water exposed to positive, loving words or images of beauty produced brilliant, complex and colorful snowflake crystals with hexagonal sixfold symmetry like those produced by water from healthy, clean, flowing rivers and springs. Conversely, the water exposed to negative, disempowering words or sad, ugly images consistently produced fractured crystals or distorted, discolored blobs with no crystalline structure at all, much like water from stagnate or polluted sources of water.
Some of Emoto’s most fascinating studies have demonstrated the amazing power of loving words and intentions such as prayer and meditation to transform and restore “sad” or polluted water back into clear, radiant, symmetrical crystals. When we consider that our bodies, like the Earth, are made up of 75% water, we are given a powerful insight into the awareness of how our thoughts, words and deeds can either positively or detrimentally effect our individual health and that of our planet. The pictures of the water crystals show clearly the effects that different environmental factors have on living systems. These images also help us to understand that we are not helplessly exposed to these negative influences. Through love and gratitude, we have the ability to improve our world.
The honest, unbiased mirror of water gives us a clear picture and understanding of how we can live in harmony with nature. What’s good for the water is good for nature, what’s good for nature and the health of our planet is good for our bodies and emotional well being. Allowing our joy, love, creativity and physical bodies to be in constant motion at all levels contributes significantly to our well-being.
In honor of the life of Dr. Emoto, born on July 22, we can celebrate and honor water on this day. It is very interesting to note, that it was on this day in 2008 that the original name of Blue Bottle Love was born…sym.blue.oloby! Dr. Emoto also specifically declared July 25 of each year to be a “World Day of Love and Thanks to Water”. This is a very beautiful intention to send deep prayers and gratitude to water on these days, so please make a note in your calendar. You can organize or join a group to honor water together. At Blue Bottle Love, we honor and bless and thank our water and all the waters of the earth everyday….and it is good to know holding your water in Blue Bottle Love bottles, this honors and blesses water ALL the time, as ALL water is connected!
On October 17, 2014, Masaru Emoto passed away peacefully with his beloved wife by his side. He received so much love and gratitude from his dear friends of all over the world. He was very encouraged and happy to receive all of the kind messages with love.
His last word was “Arigato”. (“Thank you” in Japanese) His last word is a message to everyone. We did not have the opportunity to meet Dr. Emoto in person, but he did receive a full liter bottle of Blue Bottle Love Gratitude water and he immediately drank the whole liter at once! Yes Gratitude is what it is ALL about! We intend to create a special bottle dedicated to the memory and beautiful HADO frequency of Dr. Emoto. Thank you Dr. Emoto!! Stay tuned!
Hidden Messages in Water
The Hidden Messages In Water explores water’s susceptibility to human words, emotions and thoughts. Japanese scientist Masaru Emoto has been researching this new field of science by freezing samples of water that have been exposed to either positive or negative words, emotions and music. Through photographs Dr. Emoto has found that water exposed to positive influences produces beautiful, perfectly formed crystals, while water exposed to negativity produces ugly, malformed crystals. Because the worls and our bodies are both composed of 70 percent water, the power to change the essence of water means that humans have the power to evoke change on a global or personal scale, by way of water.

The Hidden Messages in Water has received the endorsements from the following doctors and authors:”Half of the earth is water; our body is three-quarters water. Water represents the interface between the 4th dimension in which we live and the 5th dimensional sphere of our soul. Many studies have shown subtle effects of healers upon hydrogen bonding and infrared absorption of water. None of these scientific studies can compare with the beauty and clear messages shown by Dr. Emoto’s elegant work. The impact of thought and beauty has never before been demonstrated so well.” —C. Norman Shealy, M.D., Ph.D. Founding President, American Holistic Medical Association President, Holos University Graduate Seminary Author of 295 publications, including Sacred Healing
“The Hidden Messages in Water is magnificent. Through his genius photography and suberb scientific skill, Dr. Masaru Emoto has created a book that is truly a mystical treasure. His contribution to research in spiritual consciousness is positively masterful.” —Carolyn M. Myss, author Sacred Contracts and Anatomy of a Spirit
“As with Galileo, Newton, and Einstein, Dr. Emoto’s clear vision helps us to see ourselves and our universe diferently. Science and spirit unite, resulting in a profound and undeniable quantum leap in how we view our world, and how we can reclaim our health and create peace.” –Marcus Laux, ND, Editor, Naturally Well Today
“Dr. Emotos work with water beautifully illustrates the healing power of love and gratitude. These building blocks of appreciation support our well being in body, mind, heart and soul. The Hidden Messages in Water is a most valuable contribution to the creation of a positive future for our world.” –Noelle Nelson, Ph.D., co-author The Power of Appreciation
